Wynand , I'm not sure where that " poke " is , but not to worry . As has been said earlier in this thread , we are all rather thick-skinned on this forum . So please do say your say \O

Incidently , I have been looking at the latest rhino poaching and arrests stats , and find it quite interesting to note that there appears to be a higher success rate for arrests outside Sanparks ( KRUGER and MNP ) 0*\
What does that tell us ?

Very gracious of you all. I'll try, somehow, to convey your gratitude to those who deserve it. To those who exchange fire on a dark night when I'm safely asleep in my bed.
My role is really quite small.

Okie, what do you think it tells us?
Go ahead, since we're all thick skinned 'n all. No more innuendo please. Say what you insinuate by that.

RP , Maybe someone has indeed crossed the line somewhere , and if it was me , then I apologise .
And Wynand , if I have offended you in any manner , then I also apologise .
There is no hidden meaning , or innuendo in my postings . I make observations , and you may take it up as you please . If you think that there are any " hidden meanings " in my postings , then please say so .
And if you feel I should rather shut up , then say so , and I will do so .
Please note , I am looking at facts that are presented in open media . I do not fabricate facts . I do analyse given facts , and do not postulate about anyones hidden innuendo's . I do not stab anyone in the back either , but face him squarely , whoever he may be .
I criticise events , results , and I may criticise a viewpoint , but it is never my intention to attack anyone personally .
Wynand , again , I am sorry if I have offended you . I will not comment again on any that post you make . Please be assured on that . :-)

Okie.

I'm not easily offended. Wait... maybe just a little.

No apology required, but thanks. And I offer mine if you feel you need one. Probably the biggest punishment one can receive in a forum is when no one comments on your posts. So, Okie, please don't stop. Also, if I take a poke at you, it means I'm not ignoring you.

As for the arrests outside Kruger outnumbering those inside Kruger (i didn't know that but it makes sense):
I first heard of the "Clean Kruger From the Outside" -strategy at a briefing in October 2013. Its not a secret and it may well have been launched before then. I don't know. Crime intel is now shared across a broad front with agencies outside Kruger, Cross Kruger border operations are now run in accordance with an MoU between SANParks and forces and agencies ouside the park. Its paying off. Also, look at where the poachers reside and especially where the second-tier criminals operate. Not in Kruger. We very much hope that arrests outside continue to grow proportionally to the arrests inside. That is an indicator of arrests becoming pro-active up the tiers rather than being reactive only to the lowest tier inside The Park and parks.
