Thanks Lisbeth,
for a more than lovely report which brought us that little Island a bit closer - I do believe that I will visit same one day as your report made we wish to do

Lis, just spend the last 30 minutes on catching up here. I'm glad I just had breakfast otherwise I would have become very hungry looking at your food photos.
And luckily it's too early for white wine otherwise I would have become very thirsty with all your advertising Rhodes' tipple.
Nice to dip in and imagining being there. Especially when it's grey and cold outside. Rhodes is a beautiful place full of interesting history and fascinating
architecture. I'm positively surprised seeing how well maintained everything is and how well kempt the island generally looks. There are probably spots
that are not that endearing but looking through your eyes, it is appealing.
Thank you for sharing your trip with us.

Not sure how you'll manage to write a travel tale for a trip that takes 3 months though.

Mel
The 3 months is not a trip, it's a stay

We have rented a
house at Tavira for 3 months. There are lots of things to see and many nice villages around and Spain is just around the corner. It is in the middle of a reserve so I hope to see some birdies

But don't you think that "stay tale" sounds a bit odd?

I also have an Ancient Kamiros...but it takes good pics sometimes!
Why don't you people cut the heads and tails off your fish? And what are those leaves you eat?
Agree about grouper...here we call it Rock Cod...difficult to get hold of!
Thanks very much for all of this, Lis!

for your "Excellent", RP

There is a reason for head and tail. First of all you can see that the fish is fresh ( they mostly show it to you before cooking ) Second: some of the most tasty morsels are above the eyes and on the neck
I would like to show you all the wonders of Europe

It does and that's why I am not going to do any tale
I might give you a few in puts, if we see something special. We have WiFi in the house

Just looked at your temporary home. Looks beautiful! One could get a bit jealous when looking out of the window into a grey world
and imagining spending the winter in something like low twenties with blue skies.
