There really wasn't much to see so we continued back to Sunset dam and parked off for a while where a yellow billed stork was fishing

A black winged stilt came close to where we were parked

The resident hippos were generally lazing around, but a couple of youngsters were learning how to settle arguments $\O$

Some movement in the air caught my attention and I couldn't quite believe my eyes - an African Skimmer cruising around $O\/$ $O\/$ $O\/$

It was quite far away so my photos don't really do the sighting justice, but it's a real rarity and a guide even came up to us to ask if we had seen it because it was so special

Parking off next to a yellow billed stork....

We drove along the parking area as close as we could get to the skimmer - one last shot and then it appeared to be going to sleep
