we found the animal interactions,
educational,
interesting,
amusing,
breathtaking,

now that we are older,

we find it.....xxxxliating (all the words possible).

Something to look forward to is that life reaches a platform and then goes in reverse again,
and we will once again find it.

Day 3 Part 3:




After The Family Brunch at Babalala Prinswilliam and I headed up slowly, planning to stop at Kloppies again on the way up!


Lots of ellies...these somewhere along the stream near Vlakteplaas:

Then kloppies...bulls heading for mud:

















RP: "How's your wound...bleeding stopped?"

PW: "Not really..."

RP: "Pieces of glass all out?"

PW: "Don't think so..."

RP: "Want a beer?"

Pw: "Yes please..."








Elephant: "Just you wait, my pretties! It's payback time! Heeh heeh! I'll sneak around the back, and catch the pompous one on the tar road! Mwaaaahaaahaaaahhaah....! "














RP: "Right! Let's stop here for no apparent reason!"

PW: "Good idea!"

RP: "I'm Absolutely sure there is no danger!"
















Elephant: " I seeeee yoouuuu! Now for a lightning attack!" (Charges....)












Elephant: "Damn! I missed! The pompous one survives again! ...Maybe tomorrow..."














RP: "Did you hear something?"

PW: "No, what!"

RP: "Sounded like trumpeting!"

PW: "Oh, sorry, the brunch has left me a little windy... :oops: "

RP: "No...louder than that...hmmmmm..."

PW: "Maybe it's some rangers playing the trumpet in the bush?"

RP: "Ah! Of course! That must be it!....Let's move on! "









So we moved on randomly until upon reaching Pafuri area we found this cute scene:
















RP: "Ah! I see my family is multiplying well up here!"

PW: "What the hell are you talking about!?"

RP: "No...I like baboons, you see! Look... (Shouts) Heloooo, old friend!"





(Baboon grabs kid and runs off screaming...)




PW: "Yes, I see... :roll:"

RP: "What's wrong with these animals!? It's not as though I ever bother anybody! :( "

PW: "Let's go to the bridge...I smell pheromones!"

RP: "Err, Ok... "

Eek! I see we are almost half-way to the beginning!


So Day 3 Part 1 and 2 together!








We left bright and early for the family picnic at Babalala...as you can see it is almost dark still!















Then this fellow...vultures are actually few and far between up in the Far North, although some nest in the big trees along the Luvhuvhu...














Vulture: "Ahhhhhh, at last! I've flown all the way from the Magaliesberg to get this idiot...hope I get at the guts first!....Heeeh heeh heeh..."







"Ok...looks like the gut will keep us busy for weeks! Never mind! :idea: "















Vulture: "Just you wait, my pretty! Rumour has it an elephant has a surprise waiting for you this afternoon....mwaaaahaahaaa! "









Then a nice zebra!















Zebra: "So no awards? Just 'cause I'm in bright daylight!? My sister told me you'd prefer late evening pics...you men are all the same...Good day, Sir!"










And so we all stopped at Klopperfontein, and fortunately there was a passing ranger who could take this rare pic for us! (I told you it is a big family! )

















Babalala was pumping! Peter Betts would have had to be dragged kicking and screaming towards the braai areas...

But food it was...boereworsrolls an easy way of feeding the masses....

We did ask the attendant for permission, and he said if he saw any drinks we were in BIG trouble!
