Very unlikely and only theory O** The tents at Pretoriuskop are there!!

You are right - which is why the outcry. 0/*

The issue to me is that the current rules appear to allow this and will need to be revised to protect the KNP camping experience as we know it. Any long term occupation has the potential to impact on other campers - if there is only 1 great site and I hog it for 6 months that removes it from the normal usage pool. I would love to be able to spend more time camping - unfortunately current circumstances do not permit this. O/

A friend suggested that nothing stops one from going to sit amongst these tents and enjoy the view!

You only have one tent, Mike and do not occupy the whole front.

With the making an area for longer term accommodation as they are saying they are looking at, then new ablutions etc would also need to be constructed for the longer term accommodation, more staff quarters and at the end of the day will mean more vehicles on the roads in already high volumes of vehicle areas and more traffic.

The SPF is far behind AW when it comes to information. We also knew the name of "Tented Adventures" quite some time ago. Of course there is something fishy going on, that is nothing new either. It has been expressed in this topic more that ones.

I didn’t realize the below was on the forum
When you request a reservation with Tented Adventures, you will receive a confirmation of your reservation. On the confirmation letter, you will see that the deposit must be paid to Kwikfab Projects (Pty) Ltd. The questions is: who runs and who is owner of Kwikfab Projects (Pty) Ltd?
Upon extensive research, it is clear that Kwikfab Projects (Pty) Ltd is an alternative name for Tented Camp Adventures (Pty) Ltd
A CIPC search shows Mark Lawrence Gordon as the single director and company secretary of Tented Camp Adventures (Pty) Ltd. The physical address is somewhere in central Johannesburg. A quick glance at the address on on Google maps shows it is NOWHERE a professional company but an address that simple meets the requirements of the law.

This leaves us with the question, who is Mark Lawrence Gordon?
The Lowvelder is talking about Jonathan Cohen as the managing director :-? I think there's a fair amount of information and links to be made in G@mespotters post. Maybe it's all here and I can't find it 0:

Certainly G@amespotter's post is much more exhaustive than anything we have here. We have bits and pieces and guesswork, but certainly the topic has been on here for quite some time now.
