Onwards!

I had arranged to meet Prinsadam at the first turnoff to the right, so we could at least get out of the camp instead of waiting for them, which is hell on earth and literally the stuff of nightmares!

PW: "Isn't that the first turnoff?"

RP: "No, it is too close to camp. The turnoff is further on!"

PW: "But..."

RP: "But NOTHING! Who is king of Kruger, you or I????"


Anyway, I thought we might as well wait at the first sighting!


It is quite strange seeing them amongst the huge "elephant rocks" there!





The bush was quite dense, and mommy and calf came out quite cautiously to cross the road


Baby Steps

Consultation:

1,2,3 GO!

Almost there!!

Victory celebrations burst out, and suddenly elephants all over the place!




Some now even hanging out and jostling and gossiping in the road!


RP: "Trriing tring"

PA: "Ja, where are you?"

RP: "Where are YOU?"

PA: "We waited at the first turnoff, but couldn't wait any more, it is hell on earth, and the stuff of nightmares."

RP: "But..."

PW: " "

And then we went back and took the correct turnoff!

And then it began to rain!


But it is quite fun actually, something different!

And then the rain stopped!




Not many aminals, though...we went onto the loop on the other side, along the Olifants river there too...

Spot the aminal, the first I have ever photographed!




And the Balule Bridge was still standing!
