"Only mad dogs, Englishmen and I go out in the midday sun"
and I only do it when there is Load-shedding
General game
A very young wildebeest. It grows even uglier with age, but being so young he can be forgiven and then, it is not his fault
Mixed grassers
A very not at all interesting brown snake-eagle
Elephant on the rocks close to the Paul Kruger gate. Most likely the fence of the Burchell's Bush Lodge in the background
A zebra foal, if someone cannot recognise it
Another case of not being quick enough

The nyalas crossed the road very quickly and I did not even see the bull, but luckily the little one
Maybe the male was last and I might have seen him if I had waited long enough...or does he cross first

I'll never know
An elephant at my own private waterhole........ which all the OSVs know about
A couple of giraffes. Anything goes when you have to fill up
Also a yellow-billed hornbill
The next day will be better

Finally a nice day even without cats, like all the others less one
A few birds to begin with
Unknown raptor! The white feathers

me. If it were not for those it would be an African Hawk-eagle as proposed by Klippie. If the white "feathers" instead are the legs, then it
is a hawk-eagle
European bee-eaters are irresistible even if there are lots. I love the colours
A noisy red-crested korhaan
A dark-capped bulbul, which refused to show the head
What's so funny?
Breakfast at Wimpy's at Pretoriuskop. Or Wimpy's or nothing
MrsZorro - also called red-backed shrike

Lots of buffalos
Doing what buffs do
all over the place
A saddle-billed stork arrived. Normally you see them in pairs, but this one obviously had sworn to remain single, wise girl
Also a Fish-eagle joined the lively party

The party continued with everyone doing what she/he preferred, buffs and birds
Can you see the wattled lapwing?
The stork walked all the way around the water hole
