Characteristics
Small v-shaped notch in left ear at the upper part top of the earlobe and a very smaal hole about 20cm under the notch. Rigth ear clean.
Right tusk longer and more straight then left one. Left tusk has been broken.

Ngodzi blocked our way between Olifants and Letaba. You'll notice we were rather far from him...
DuQues had to shoot at 400mm! It did get better later on as you'll notice by the closeness of the elephants to the car.

Driving from Mopani to Letaba I found this named Tusker (NGODZI)
Great to see this tusker again and new for me: He was now close to Letaba, just several km’s from Letaba camp. All other sightings so far were near Mopani, mainly Mooiplaas waterhole.

April 28 and 29 2014, Mopani area .... time to meet Ngodzi again.
After having seen him in 2010 and 2011 it was time to look for my friend Ngodzi and to see how he was doing.
April 29 First appointment where he was drinking at the waterhole at Mooiplaas.
Next day we had another meeting.... I asked him to pose better this time. He lifted his trunk and recognized me
Told him I would like to refresh his pages at internet so he could have a look at himself at his E-Pad
After the group session he came towards me for some better ID pics (I told him I did not want to make a mistake with ID'ing him)
Bye Ngodzi and hope to see you next time again and take care , some might monitor you.
Very nice moments with this big boy.
