They seemed to be quite skittish. Andries, who was cleaning our braai at that time, told us why. A lion was approaching the waterhole.

then he came straight towards us and went behind unit 4

we stayed a bit longer to watch the kudus who were at the waterhole now.

We did not get far. At the junction of the access and the main road we heard the lion roaring again

when we returned to camp, we saw willies and red hartebeest at the waterhole

an ostrich came to have a dust bath and some small visitors were around
