Awww, Flutts, I can totally see why you love that bum shot! And when you also look at those cute litte paws...
Very lucky to get the both of the cubs in one frame

I had the same issue, nan, but found that it only takes ages for the pictures to build up but they'll do eventually.nan wrote:is it the forum or... ? I can't open all the pictures

This was only the second time we've seen leopard cubs...very special.harrys wrote:WOW WOW what a awesome sighting I will give my front teeth to have a sighting like that
This sighting was just too close to too many gates. We've only seen leopard cubs once before, in 2009, and we didn't get any pics, so this was great.Lisbeth wrote:What a pity that the best sightings are ruined by too many cars, not to talk about the OSVs
All of a sudden there are leopard cubs around in the TTs. I have never seen any in a TT before.......I think
Your were lucky it was so quiet!Bushcraft wrote: Same mother and juniors we found and in the same spot by the look of it. Fortunately I only had 2 cars, but the one was a faulty OSV driver who pushed his way in front of us
More cubs have been seen on the H4-1 quite regularly recently.Bushcraft wrote:It must be an April thing We haven't found a cub since July 2014 and 7 that I can remember since 2008 prior to this April (all in TT's here Lisbeth ), but then suddenly 4 this April, so there's a leopard junior explosion in KNPLisbeth wrote:What a pity that the best sightings are ruined by too many cars, not to talk about the OSVs

Yes it is.Richprins wrote:Nice, Flutts!
Ja, agree with Mommo on this one!
Wonder if it's the same daily scrum as on the "driving in Kruger" thread?
We were very lucky to see them. Hope you got to see all the pics.nan wrote:superb... splendid.... what a chance

Thanks PJL. Try in April again....I think BC is correct in saying that this is the time for leopard cubs.PJL wrote:Great sighting Flutts

Re: The Flutterlings of Africa
Day 6, 26 April 2017, Lower Sabie
And so, we had come to our last afternoon drive in Kruger. We decided to head down the H4-2, onto the S130 Gomondwane Loop and back up the S28.
The ever-present fish eagle at the Lower Sabie weir.
We stopped for this little fella on the H4-2.
The famous dead tree on the Gomondwane Loop.
Apart from some rutting impala and these cuties, we didn't see anything else on the loop.
The Brat earned Spotter of the Day for finding this Pearlie in the fading light and whilst driving.
Fake Eyes
Real Eyes
Our final stop for the day was to watch the sunset with an ellie.
Our drive to the gate the next morning only produced one hyena, so that's it for this trip. Thanks to all who have followed this TT and commented...always much appreciated.

WoW Flutterby,
I am so about that leopard sighting and you even got to see both cubs I can imagine that traffice jam there but I also would have stayed there quite a bit longer - Gorgeous pearlie shots and that ellie sunset is amazing.

Ag no...finished?
Like the ellie artsy shot!
Always scared one of my drivers will hit that tree...
Thanks so much for this realistic story vs BC and PJL's fabrications!
You really spin a good yarn and mix a variety of facets in!
