Another bat-eared fox, this time from a close range, nice looking animal

We loved to see this white-faced scops owl, the eyes are just amazing

Another african wild cat, this time we got a better sighting

And the last animal spotted before returning to Twee Rivieren was this genet

A very pleasant and productive game drive I would say.

Grand, Pedro, and great owl pics, it is tough at night! X#X \O

Ja...lions in camp!

Surely it is not a brilliant idea to have domestic chickens in a National Park these days, what with all sorts of diseases going around? :-? -O-

I never knew that staff are allowed to keep poultry  It can also attract wild animals, like in this case O-/ Not necessarily lions, but genets, servals and African wild cats 0-

Awesome! I have yet to see a genet in the KTP and wild cats and bat eared foxes are always a welcome sighting.
As are owls and meerkats :-0 Well done!

Glad to hear the resident Twee owl is still around. Hopefully breeding and hopefully with a youngster by the time we get there. ^Q^

You can read about the lions in the camp episode in a post at sanparks forum, one forumite was camping and got the scare of his life lol .

The chicken part either it was a joke from the ranger or I may have misanderstood, so I can´t confirm that part.

Those were graeat sightings but the meerkats we got to see them from very close, I loved them, IMO they are the most funny animal in the park.
