I love those redstarts to bits! Not many around here and the one resident couple hasn't returned to our "garden" :-(
The black variety I've only ever seen around our school building (some serious trees and greens there - in contrast
to our flat :O^ ) but no photo as my smartphone is a hoot and obviously I don't carry my camera around O**

This morning I saw a male black redstart sitting on the gate. They are beautiful O/\ O/\
