We hadn't had breakfast yet RP, theres lots of posts to come before suppertime (although lunch might keep you interested for a while longer), so you will just have to be patient oh toom raider.

I was going to move on from the Ivory Gulls, but I'll have to post all 652 photos now. =O: =O: =O:

After watching all the action going on outside, we went fo breakfast which was excellent as usual. Cereals, boiled eggs, cold cuts, smoked salmon, herring, cheese, fresh baked bread, fresh fruit juice and steaming cups or rich, aromatic coffee. I also had some bread smothered with lashings of thick honey to finish with. Mmmmmmmm.

Back on deck I watched the Ivory Gulls feeding. They would hover above the stern looking for krill or fish that were displaced by our passing and would stall in flight, drop down and plunge into the frigid waters to snatch up a tasty morsel which they would then devour on a nearby piece of ice.

Searching for an opportunity.

Oops, :o0ps: I missed out on replying to the previous comments. It's your fault RP, distracting me with thoughts of food. =O: But thanks to everyone for the comments re the gulls and the scenery. \O
