When elephant are in the mood to attack other animals they often kill them, stf! From rhino to zebra have been recorded as victims...often with just a hefty trunk across the spine!

This elephant came bounding along to a waterhole in Addo, only to find that it was dry - it seemed that the pump had stopped working. No problem for the ellie as he plugged the inlet pipe with his trunk and with some strong sucking drew water out for himself

Yesterday afternoon , coming back from Cape Town , on the way to Worcester , I had a most amazing sighting .
In a paddock with a number of animals and poultry , I saw a horse
eating a dead goose
I was so amazed seeing this , that , stopping suddenly on the busy highway , it almost caused problems for the vehicle behind me .
Unfortunately I did not have my camera with me , but took a couple pics with my cell-phone , which I am still trying to down-load to my computer .
