Thank you Lisbeth, Flutterby and Nan
Yes the fever tree forest is stunning. You must see it with your own eyes to experience it.
Puppy yes the north is a very special place for me and i can't stop going back there.
Richprins i have e-mailed Aat the tusker pics but will also post it under the tuskers thread
Mel the scenery is breathtaking and with all the baobab trees it makes it just so much more special

So our next stop was Babalala where everyone visited the bathroom and we stretched our legs
We had this guy entertaining us with his tricks
We thought we are in the circus but no we were still in the north of Kruger
We left after spending only 15minutes because we knew we still had a long way to go. This man made waterhole were dry and as you can see NO animals around
The Shingwedzi bridge. Not much water left
Then we quickly stopped at Shingwedzi camp to say hello to Christa and to check if our AW award were still there
They have put up signs to show the flood level..... Scary stuff
Just look at the 2 signs. The one below is from 2000 and the top one 2013
We left camp and found this elephant scratching himself against the tree. It was so funny because you could see he really enjoyed himself but can't think to myself if i would enjoy it
Our next stop will be Mopani..........

Hi Alf,
Nice start to the northern parts.

Haven't been to Pafuri for more than 8 years. We were also recently at Shingwedzi and spotted the AW award and found the water holes also quite dry except for areas near the river. I heard of very interesting sightings around there I hope you saw a few.
