As I pointed out above, if the amount of the salary is not known it is impossible to say if the raise is justified or not.

Something you must remember is that the private consessions deliver mush better quality service and they are proud of their jobs unlike some employees of SANparks, Anja applied for a job in SANparks and the pay was higher for the same position in SANparks, my opinion is that most of these SANparks employees are only there for the money and don't give a damn about conservation or the animals they are supposed to care for......just my opinion -O-

Very often the ones behind the protest are the trade unions showing their muscles in order not to lose power and influence O**
