After Liz revived this thread with that article that was both informative and humorous, I began looking back at some of the entries from a few years ago when there was interest on the Forum in this area of photography.
I'd like to revisit the subject of Macro Photography, and see if there are those who might either be already bitten by the bug (pun intended), or be intrigued enough to try their hand at it.
Would LOVE to see some of your photos of these unsung and most often overlooked fellow travelers on planet Earth, or other creative uses of close-up views of any subjects - animate or inanimate.
I include my SA pics in my TTs, but here are a few non-South African subjects to start what I hope will become an area of interest once again:
