Hunting cannot be considered a sport as all contestants in a sport should know they are playing the game!

Amazing pics. \O

A comment on a video I posted of a "cape mountain leopard" which I posted on the AW FB page a while ago....
But it is just a leopard! Period. No such thing as a "mountain" leopard. The only problem I have is with the naming of the species.I may sound pedantic in my comment, but it is important to keep things clear. I feel the same way about the so-called "Golden Wildebeest". It is utter nonsense. Soon you will see petitions for fake species that doesn't exist. Until an animals Binomial classification changes, we can't just give them quaint folk names, it leads to confusion.

The BBC did an hour long feature for their Natural World series on these - "Africa's Fishing Leopards."

I have it playing as I type this - keep an eye out for it as it's an amazing film. \O

Stunning images. \O

Ja, Dewi...Gump also remarked upon the fishing leopards in Botswana...seems that's the thing? This not really fishing...all predators/scavengers take the remaining catfish as the pools dry up! :-0
