Sulky
What refreshments did you take to the hide Was “tea” back on the menu
That hide produces throughout the day in September/October provided the rains haven’t arrived
Was the foreign lady French We met a French lady 2 days before and she had the same attire agenda, which normally puts the Cow in “attack mode”, however she was very friendly and followed us around so the Cow’s pelican never materialized

Ja, tea made a slow comeback, BC...
She may have been French? Wasn't paying attention!
How can you notice such things, you are married?

Just to add about the last pics, never seen giraffe drinking from a full reservoir like that before...they must be in heaven without having to stoop down as normal!

This is how game viewing should be done!
The buffalo bulls were coming and going...never a dull moment!
And relaxing!
This one had a peculiar attachment!
Yellow-billed oxpecker for Dzombo!
And things kept coming and going!
Some zebras were also celebrating the cool breeze in the background...pleasantly losing their marbles!
"I seee youuuu!"
Chaos!
The rest of the day was the same old same old....but never boring! Will put up another 100 pics!

richprins was sitting at the waterhole. he saw a carrion bird.
richprins did not see the other bird lower down in that photo, or mention it in his report. another mistake by him. he regularly makes mistakes, at least two per year amongst his 10 000000 posts. i wish observers would stick to the FACTS when taking a photo. then some flutterbyes came.
richprins and dwarf's hearts were beating, and they were breathing. the noise is just not acceptable in a hide, spoiling the experience of other visitors. and they chased the flutterbyes away.
then a bobjan arrived. it is so nice to appreciate the common smaller animals. but i doubt he noticed that, as he was consuming beverages again, which is against the rules of the park.
the sun was shining. this really spoils the experience of listening to the night sounds of the african bush. sanparks should revisit this aspect of their management.
there was a strange apparition above.
i wish richprins would get a better camera, preferably a canon eos d1234 mark 8 with disposable 140-235 sigma lens.
i left in disgust.
