There is a nice skull display at the coffee shop there!
Black rhino:
(They label it white rhino...)
And white rhino:
And a poached one...look at the chopping marks on the forehead...
In a flash we were back at the dam, having a grand old time, when we eventually noticed that one car was looking at something way off to the left of the parking lot, and vultures were coming in !

We moved over to that side, and all we could see were an increasing number landing in a gaggle around a certain bush area!
If you look carefully you can see dots all over the place!
They were very close sometimes, and this is always a magical experience!

There must have been well over 50 in the end, within the space of 15 minutes. How they do it is incredible!
We could hear them squabbling on the ground amongst the bushes by now, and obviously something else was monitoring them too!
Leachy and I were pondering as to what led to this small antelope's sudden demise, and we could only think snake bite?
Anyway, action was building up at the dam too. As I may have said before, this is really my favourite pastime!

If there were only one hyena it could not have killed the antelope; maybe it was hurt or already dead (bitten by a snake ) or something else
Nice wildlife party

Busy there
God put me on earth to accomplish a certain amount of things. Right now I'm so far behind that I'll never die.

As said, my favourite pastime!
Then something quite scary and unrehearsed...I was videographing the swarm of vultures when leachy burst into song!

The show tapers down around lunchtime..this hyena also did a trot-past.
And we left for lunch too!
On the way out, a womans, not so common in the south!
And a mans!
