When I was there, it was not at all gloomy and not very windy either. It was a beautiful place and the camping was busy only with day visitors on Sunday  It was during the second week of January \O

When the sea becomes whipped cream or Amarula it is a bit disgusting. Once I thought that it was pollution, but read somewhere that it is........(don't remember anymore :-? lol )
It's the first time I have seen something like this.

Usually during December the camping area are packed to capacity. Strange to see a spot open for more than a few hours

We left Stormsriver with a sad feeling but we knew our next part of the trip will be new planets to visit so also very excited.

We stopped over in George to get fresh groceries. That took longer than I thought 0*\

After booking in at the reception we started with the 6km dirt road towards the park. Not sure why they wasted their time with putting up 50km/h boards because the people fly past you leaving you in a cloud of dust every few minutes.

Our first stop was the southern most tip of AFRICA

We finally arrived at camp and unpacked.

Our view over the sea for the next 4 nights

We drove down to the lagoon to explore

The view back to the camp

It really is beautiful there. \O

Our marine fish tank filter makes foam like that 'Amarula'...that's how it gets all the impurities out of the water. ;-)

Beautiful position and view \O

We went to Agulhas and tried to get into the park to have a look around, but no entrance if you do not have an over night booking :-(

Interesting stuff again, Alpheus! X#X

You know it is windy when the huts have to have cables tying them down? =O:

Looks quite larney and private!

There is an Agulhas Park thread somewhere! [O]
