The cheetah had fully settled down for a sleep so we decided to continue around Harveys loop and along Ngulube loop. There had been rumours of lions along Ngulube but we weren't sure if the sighting had perhaps been the day before
Harveys is normally very quiet until you get to the northern section and that's where we met up with some elephant and buffalo bulls
There was no sign of lion along Ngulube but a bird of prey in the distance looked unfamiliar so I snapped some pics of it... and I was glad I did! It was a long way off, but this was my first sighting of a martial eagle in the park
As we drove along the open plains of the southern access road on our way back to the cheetah we saw an elephant bull with an impressive set of tusks (for Addo at least). Perhaps he's one of Valli Moosa's offspring
We could tell that the cheetah were still in the same place based on the cars, so we decided to check them out one last time before leaving the park. It was a good decision

Re: Addo Outings
Those cheetahs are in an excellent condition! Very handsome guys too! I wonder how old they really are.
Wouldn't think much more than 5 years, maybe even younger. But anyways, I hope they'll lead a happy
and long life in Addo!

Re: Addo Outings
I agree Mel, they do look young so let's hope they're around for years to come
On our way back to the cheetah we were rather startled to suddenly find Notchy. It was a great sighting - it was just our vehicle and he crossed the road right in front of us
