What may be significant is that the above major rezoning/strategy/mission recalculation PDF seems to have been removed from SanParks' home page... can't find it since last week already!
But our link still works!

Maybe they only want to be able to work "under cover"

Or maybe they have just adopted a care less attitude,
meaning "I will do just what I want" anyway.
You see, since .gov took the reins, this means any action
by Sanparks will become justified by .gov. .Gov will take-up
any suggestion made by Sanparks, in good faith and Sanparks
just found the gap for misdemeanour, so as to shine!!!!
Cannot blame .gov for not knowing the intricasies at the time,
now can we. After all they will just reply "we were mislead"!!!!

That sums it up very well, H!
Sometimes SanParks just get a rubber stamp from Gov., as with the felling of trees in Garden Route Park...
But if there's an outcry as with the hotels, Gov. can always invoke the EIA process!

They can RP, but let's face it,..in who's favour do you think they
will drop the hatchet????? or swing 'it maybe????? Money talks!!!
You see, 'if we are to commercialize our parks" then also face
common argument!!, such as,.."Why dangle a sausage in a
dog pound",......I beg you???

Booked in and chatted with a SanParks guy last week, and he had absolutely no idea of these developments, and was not particularly impressed...

Some interesting stuff here:
http://d2zmx6mlqh7g3a.cloudfront.net/cd ... s-edit.pdf
A long read, and concerning!
Notice how Shangoni Gate is not on the map, along with the Utilization zone in the North.
Also how it is stated that the scoping report for the Malelane safari Lodge has been completed, and the EIA is well underway. This is misleading, as it applies to last year's EIA which was rejected!

Why is it a hidden agenda?
