Nice Sprocky, you got some good shots of him. He was hiding from me when I saw him and didn't see him again the whole week we were there.

Another interesting observation. / question .. Is SHILOWA (one of the tuskers of yesterday) the father of NKOMBO ? (Shilowa photographed in 1992 and Nkombo's photo dated 2016. This shape of tusks is rare in kruger, almost looks like a "bush-elephant" Shilowa is the only named tusker of the past with same shaped tusks. Shilowa's left tusk and Nkombo's right tusk and Shilowa's left tusk and Nkombo's right tusk.... we will never know but.... good chance here is father and son

and indeed very interesting story about Shilowa... need adn maybe

nan... Nkombo is alive but Shilowa died long time ago and I assume there is no DNA available.
