A month ago I went on a solo trip to Pretoriuskop as I had a meeting nearby the next day!
So just in and out, but very pleasant.
Straight off on the S3 from Numbi gate...I must say I am now a regional regular there around that camp!
Plenty clouds!
And my favourite, Mestel Dam...a hive of activity as always...
(The rains had begun just the day before and the veld was still dry and open, make no mistake! )
This is a "hot spot" of mine at the S7 junction...one can see some water on the rock.

The impala were heavily pregnant and a bit late with their birthing, but that seems to be the new normal?
