Just before 2017 begins....
I also found one of the Potential tuskers among my pictures of our last trip: It's Mopani_02
I only could capture him at a large distance but steady hand and zoom helped me out. He is a big bull (size) and his tusks are promising.
TO ALL: A Healthy, Happy and Wonderful 2017

RP, you're right and it just confirms that details are needed in many cases to ID a tusker (the proper way)...

Welcome in 2017 and let's go for a good Tusker year.
Going again through the pictures of our last trip I found another tusker, so not 5 but 6 of them
This one I found in 2008 , seen him in 2014 and again in 2016 ....
Madzopfurini
After no sign of him for almost a year and not seen that often overall it's nice to show some pics of him. At short distance again.

RP,
It's one of the older tuskers , that's also the reason I am interested in the younger potential ones.
Many of the old tuskers haven't been seen for a long time and I doubt if they are still around. Some others like this one and Kumana are in their "old" days so we need more "fresh blood"
