Lots of pretty birds

I wonder why I have never seen a little bee-eater

At least I think so

Mrs. Zorro is so pretty in that close-up pic
The water flowing across the causeway is impressive

Interesting stuff, Pumbaa!
The S1 is a hit and miss road!
Stunning shot of the flooded causeway!
And always nice to find a bird party, amazing how sometimes one little spot is crammed with birds.

We could not always drive that causeway during our many stays but we never saw that many water flowing

The little bee eaters are such cuties

giraffes
who were extreme hungry, according to experiences giraffes are always hungry
and another lilac breasted roller.
After a short body break in Skukuza camp we soon carried on and came across more warthogs
in a not that dense area there and we simply enjoyed watching their behavior
especially the little piglets were extreme cute.
At our beloved watching point on a bridge over a stream we again noticed the pied kingfishers
and along the Sabie river we noticed quite a few carmine bee eaters.
Then it got again a bit too quiet but along the H1-2 shortly after the broken road we noticed a water monitor exploring the river bed of a smaller stream and luckily for us same posed quite a few times for us.
to be continued....................
