It's a glorified charcoal holder to make it easy to get a charcoal braai going (if you can call that a braai)... never used one I must admit

I have been offered one last Christmas. I would not have bought it myself but I must admit it is efficient and easier to have the charcoal burning. It does not alter so much the fun of the braai.

Hmmm.... I do not like to braai with charcoal , rather use good wood , that can add flavour to your food , etc .
Charcoal just gives heat , and in fact , it is not even environmentally friendly , both in its production , as well as in consumption
