Glad you all liked the jackal :-) For some reason I find them hard to capture in Addo. Actually they are more photogenic than their KTP Cousins,
but unfortunately more skittish at the same time too.

On with some ellies, before I finish this one off with my Special sightings O:V
(And then there is still Mountain Zebra :O^ )

These are some individuals from all over the park and after the rain when the big herds were a Thing of the past :O^

This one was feeding Close to the Windmill Waterhole

There was actually a black-headed heron hunting Close by but I never got a decent shot of both of them in one Frame.
Looked quite funny though - the heron all of a sudden seemed very small in presence of the ellie. lol

Another day, same area - on a Mission:

That's the one we were watching while you were at Spekboom, PJL. lol

At Windmill Waterhole:

Again, another day, at Windmill Waterhole:

In the Southern Section and through the windscreen because I wanted to get hold of the Little ones before all of them disappeared into the bush.

And a Family Walking disappearing into the shrubs on Ngulube Loop after having caked themselves with the red mud at Fourways waterhole lol

Beautiful pics, Mello! ^Q^ ^Q^ ^Q^

Ja, the smaller animals seem to be darker and more shaggy down there, maybe it's the cold? -O-
