as per my book Dik-Dik is very small, 40cm at shoulder

per comparison :
Suni 35cm
Blue Duiker 32cm
Steenbok 52cm and Klipspringer 60cm

Must be very cute to see in the green

here you are a side pic of the Sandpiper

Yep nan, that's a Wood Sandpiper. Spotted wings, long legs, fairly long bill, and lacks the defined 'crescent' shoulder marking typical of a Common Sandpiper. Thanks for the extra pic!

Oh yes.... these ones were free and bigger, those at Urikaruus were a nightmare, smaller (= much more) and in number
