Anyways... remember that the gate people have a lot of time at their hands at the moment, so your tea wouldn't be safe either
Don't feel guilty about being one of the blessed people who can enter the park - enjoy it as long as it lasts and especially as long as the quiet time without too many cars lasts.
Looks dry there though in parts.

Great to see still that much water at Gesanftombi, Richprins
It is still much more than we saw the previous years when the dam was empty even in February

I went down the Croc River road to check up un some water sources closer to the road....but the first pan dry...
And the wallow where I had waited for Flutts last year also dry!
Then down to check out the hippo pools...pygmy hippo!

Some really grand views there on the S27, and the light is low at this time of year!
Then smartly back to Gezantombi Dam for some waterhole-sitting...to be met by family looking rather judgemental!
