RP,
The tusker with the collapsed ear is on my site with the name TSHANGA

The right ID info is:
Left ear: Collapsed , hole in bottom of ear and 2 smaller holes near the middle section

Right ear: small notch near the middle section and one visible hole and one very small hole next to this hole.
I think all these marsk are visible on the picture of Tshanga

I notice on Aat's TUSKERSOFAFRICA that Nwanedzi has broken his RH tusk some-time beween June 2016 and June 2017.

Quite a few tuskers have now lost tusk tips over the past year or two but that is the way big, thick blunt tipped tusks are formed, very few really big tusks have retained their original sharp tips.

100ponder,
It's remarkable idd. I think there are prbably a few reasons: It has been dry for a long time so they have had more difficulty with digging up roots, next.. they had to visit these concrete waterholes (more risk for the tusks) and last... grass notches causing breaking of the tips.

Hi all... it's a pleasure to show a picture , very recently made, of SHIPENE. Only recognized and named by us and on our tuskersite.

He is small in stature but with impressive tusks ...thick and beautiful
