I did not realize that the raptor was an osprey until RP told me. Having never seen one makes it more difficult to ID it on the spot

I have checked your pretty flower from here
viewtopic.php?f=46&t=9389&start=60#p446580
and put it to the scientific section
viewtopic.php?f=248&t=3748&p=452911#p452911
(Would you mind doing the links to the indices)
I like your birds

Thank you so much, Klippie
I should have done it myself

I'll add them to the index

I already put the swallows there, but nobody seems to know
The herons must also have a very elastic throat

The next day I went out late and did not see much. The best was a Tawny eating a poor little squirrel
And a buffalo somewhere
Next outing wasn’t much more exciting but at least more varied
I never saw much on the sand roads between Phalaborwa and Letaba, S131-32-33 and never met another car, which did not bother me at all
As said before I love the hornbills. I find the grey one very elegant in its choice of colours
Whenever it is in a good position
“Hi there, long time no see!”
“we must meet more often, old boy”

European roller
A steenbok under a bush very close to the road and not looking very happy. How come that the steenboks attracts the flies much more than other antelopes?
Ellies in the green. This one was a bit far away, but I like his tusks even if not very long
The Bateleur is always welcome, being more colourful than its “collegues”

On the way back at the Sable Dam waters a Common Greenshank, I think....

Woodland Kingfisher
And just before the gate a lovely Steppe Buzzard
And that was all for now. Luckily there are the birds and elephants

Which windmill is that broken one?
I don't remember
It is not Shivulani, because that one is not broken.
I don't know if Jumbo waterhole has a cement container.
I remember that I went past it.
