Can you believe it, a rhino!

I fear this is the last rhino with horns I shall see in Kruger in my lifetime... [InLuv] X#X

q5.jpg

And off onto the S130...an attempt to photograph impala that were leaping over the dirt road for some reason...fail! [O] @#$

q6.jpg

There are a couple of old pans on that road, and there was some warthog-guineafowl alliance going on there... -O- 0-

Geez, with that queue I would have lost any appetite for going in the Park O-/

What's going on with that warthog and the guinea fowls, I wonder :-?

We went on the S138 to where a den of wild dogs had been all week...but only a kudu! :o0ps:

q.jpg
back on the S130 we plotted to go to the little pan near the northern end and take a chance! ..0..

More warthog! 0*\ This area of the park has always been crawling with them!

q1.jpg

And WATER at the pan! We were lucky as it was quite late winter! X#X

q2.jpg

The parking lot is right near the edge, and the impala were not shy! \O

We managed to sneak into the only bit of shade there, as the sun was heating up quite rapidly!

More warthog!

q4.jpg

And the aminals kept on arriving! O/\

q5.jpg

This is our great pleasure in life, sitting at a secluded water point with some tea and watching the world go by! <dop> :ty: X#X

The light angle was also perfect! [O]

q6.jpg

Here one can see how close the aminals are!
