Looking back from the other side of the weir, we could see some others from the pride hiding from the wind.
After watching for 10 minutes we moved on up the S23. This family was on one of the koppies.

We stopped at Skukuza for Lunch, on the way in we always stop and take a pic of the reception sighting board from the car. As you can see below the day had been quiet for everyone…
Lunch was at the Cattle Baron takeaways, and for a change was quite good. We did ensure that the Kruger Statue pic was taken..
The H4-1 down to Lower Sabie has some general game but else was not the H4-1 I am used to in the winter months.

I'm sure we will get to see 1000 more leopards and even wild dogs for the afternoon

Joh, it does look gloomy and windy, SN!
I do love those koppies and views on the S-23, very picturesque area!
Not the same statue with the missing girl!

We had a pit stop at Lower Sabie then off down to Croc Bridge. Most of this drive was quiet with some general game in isolated spots. Then we came across a group of cars stopped, not like the usual huge jams during school holidays, probably about 6 cars at most.
The dogs were in the bush a few kilos past the S130 southern entrance.
The dogs would get up and move around every few minutes, but it was only 16h00, so we knew they were not going anywhere yet

We stayed with them for about 20 minutes then moved on as we still had to get to Marloth and check in.
We had booked on of the ExDeo houses again, this time the Erdvark Cottage.
