Thanks everyone for waiting so patiently while we were away for a few days
Back home after a wonderful little trip to the Cederberg
Monday 26 October 2020
The morning of our first full day in the park was started, as usual with the obligatory sunrise photo.
This one was taken in the Twee Rivieren car park while Debbie was waiting for me to collect our permit
I was social distancing in a queue to collect the required document.
1.5m apart, and all wearing masks.
Looking at this pic, it appears as if even “The Jap” was parked at a social distance away from the other vehicles.
Our first sighting of the morning was of this Verreaux’s Eagle Owl, not far out of the gate, catching the early morning light.
At Samevloeiing, this Black Chested Snake Eagle was perched on top of a tree, looking a tad irritated with life.
