Hi Bruce
I know the contractor went into liquidation recently .Best bet may be to post in Imfolozi Game Reserve facebook page they will let you know how bad it is , personally I have done the park in a getz once when it was really bad :
Last post on this subject on Facebook 6 April :
"Wondered what happened to the roadworks in the park - noticed that the construction equipment was no longer there - saw an article in today's Zululand Observer - "Road contractor Fired - What was supposed to have been an eight-month road resurfacing project to overhaul Hluhluwe-iMfolozi Park's tar road was, a few months after commencement, abandoned owing to the contractor's financial difficulties" (R22-million contract) "We are currently involved in the process of procuring service providers to complete the project - No money was lost with the previous provider as he has not been paid" - well, we are going to have to continue to doge potholes!"

This pic was taken this morning on the corridor road that runs through the park. Not sure if the rules of the park apply to this road but I would think so.

Same rules apply
Shocking control and lack of "park education"

The ellies will "educate" the people eventually!
I'm sure many locals there have never seen one in their lives!

Probably RP, but that's why education is so important.

Hey, I'm an educator! It doesn't work without punishment!
