never seen there... "only" in the Kgalagadi (where it's easier), so well done
right place, right time
magnificent Croc, love the Ground Hornbill, so nice eyes, and cute little Mongoose
Seen them in camps before but great to see them in the park
love the Biyamiti Weir one day might get lucky enough to stay in Biyamiti camp
yes the birds love to clean the Giraffe

We put some bird seeds out at Marloth and some finches came to enjoy them
After a rest and some lunch we headed back into the park through Croc Bridge this time . It was still hot and there was nothing around until we got onto the S130 where we found some Buff occupying the water hole
Some impala were at the water hole opposite side of the road
We left and headed back to the gate as it was getting late .Crossing the bridge by the S28 a movement in the tree caught my eye and I stopped to see who was in the tree
A mongoose ran across the road and we thought there might be some action
but the owl wasn't watching this direction
We got one more pic before rushing off to get out the gate muttering about the shorter winter gate times ...

The waterhole pic is very nice and with a lovely light
A pity that the eagle owl was looking the other way.....not for the mongoose though

was the perfect time to get nice pictures.
Actually thinking about it there was a car parked back to the side at the waterhole .

The next morning was cool and misty start .We were off early to enter at Croc Bridge
The S28 was very quiet .I stopped to catch a dewy spider web
The roller was still defrosting
Heading up the main road the Fish eagle was also still warming up
We went over the Lower Sabie bridge and got a pic of the Hippos all pretty chilled
There was an old log floating around the opposite side
We stopped in at Lower Sabie for breakfast and enjoyed some birds in their rocky bird bath at the same time
After breakfast we stopped in at Sunset dam but all we found were some barn swallows flying into the overflow pipe
