Day 0 Part 0 :
After having recovered from the croc attack late that night I went to bed...after all the whole idea of moving up to Phala was to be fresh for the next morning!
However it was not to be...
For some reason Phalaborwa already had a thriving mosquito community...most probably having bred in the Sprockpool...
I didn't have a fan above my bed, so resolved to apply repellent and suck it up...
An hour later, through the tears, I realised that the unit had a large aircon! This is excellent anti-mozzie stuff, and it was also damned hot!
I shall never forget the scene is I stood before the mighty machine...something like Rocky having jogged up the steps of the Philadelphia Monument, and pressed the remote control button!
But, typically, some moron had set the thing to "heater"...

I shall never forget the scene as I knelt before the mighty machine sobbing like a baby and pottering with the remote control while having lovely hot air blowing over me...

After another hour I got it right...yay...
Next morning as we were packing a bitch-call arrived from the children who were now waiting at Phala Spar, saying where were we as it was 07h00 and we had arranged to meet at 07h00 blah blah bitch moan blah....
We arrived at the Spar at 07h07 to be met with hoots of abuse...ironically only for me, not for Dwarf...but that is how it works!
Natasha from Spar (A lovely and stunning lady) had the stuff ready and pre-frozen as per the AW deal for pre-ordering with a 5% discount, so we just had to load up into the "Dong"!
I really don't know why more AW members don't use this facility, which also applies to Malelane Spar!
There was enough space in the "Dong", but tricky repacking was required especially regarding the coolers. It was great fun as I did most of the packing myself while surrounded by the jeering children...to such an extent that Natasha stepped in and adminished them and said that I was actually very sweet!
Eventually we got going, and entered the Park without any arrests or incidents!
Ahhh...
