so...........
it was time to go for my last evening drive of this trip
alas !!!!!!

i took a turn passed this majestic beauty
.
.

.
.
to the confluence
where this
young "letaba buck" was peeking out from behind the bush.......
.
.

.

.
.
when looking down from the bridge
the riverbed looks like a mine field
with all the wells that the ellies have dug to find water...
.
.

.
.
and then on the way back to the camp i spotted
nkombo........
(i must just check with richprins if that is in fact a collar around his neck ???)

.
.

.

.
.

.
.

.
he wandered up the river bank just below where i was parked
and began snacking on some of the fresh new growths..
.
.

.
.

.
.

.
.

.
i left early the next morning to head home
and after stopping to snap one of the water holes in the river
.
.

.
.
i saw that machachule had come to bid me farewell
as he had been there, to greet me on arrival
.
.

.
.
a brief stop on the letaba low water bridge
.
.

.
.
and my last sighting of the week just before phalagat
was a breeding herd of loxodonta africana.....
