Its been awhile since I posted!

Just wanted to brag that I saw the Rietvlei cheetahs make a kill yesterday!!! Third time I've seen them, but my first kill in Rietvlei.

And all this after I saw a lion kill in Pilanesberg last weekend. O/\

Think I will be playing the lotto this week....

Sorry guys - no pics. It was a spur of the moment, Sunday afternoon after the braai trip.

For those of you who might not know: Rietvlei is open till 19:00 at the moment. It is really nice to go late afternoon and do a sunset drive. We got a new record of 16 mammals in 2.5 hours on Sunday. Also some really nice birds. The area just over the bridge on the southern side of the reserve has turned into a huge vlei, and there are really nice birds.

Also spotted my first ever oribi on Sunday, so it was a good day out.

Promise I will take the camera next time.... :o0ps:
