Car rental advice for foreign visitors

Getting to any of the parks for foreigners could be a mission if they do not rent the correct vehicle for their needs.

Will any of you with experience in car rental please give some advice for foreign visitors.

1. Type of vehicle suggested for various parks.
2. Type of vehicle good for photography. (that is windows that open in the back, etc)
3. Type of vehicle suitable for more than 4 people with luggage.

What vehicles do our foreign members rent while they are here?

We always rent a 4x4, and if you do it with the large companies in advance, you can only rent a vehicle category, not a particular car modell. Most times you get a Toyota Hilux in the 4x4 group, sometimes the Nissan Doublecab.

Suitable for 4 adults with luggage, but not more :-)

Have any of you ever rented a Combi type vehicle or any other vehicle with more than five seats?
