Wena mazambane...lala Hazyview enter Crocodile Bridge? 0- 0- 0-

=O: =O: One language I know a bit of... : hello, how are you, you mad, sleeping in and Hazyview and entering CB.. -O -O

Super sightings so far - love your sunbirds, and definetly your macro of the dragonfly.. ^Q^ ^Q^
Thanks for the translation Amoli, it saved me using Babelfish -O

Sunbirds are difficult because they don't stop moving. The Dragonfly was taken with my Sigma 150-500mm lens. It was quite close but that lens will focus at around 2 metres.

Day 1. Saturday 27 July 2013. Sanbonani.

Phabeni gate was a nightmare when we arrived there at Zero-Dark:30, there was a huge queue and the JJs were out in force so we drove up to Kruger Gate and entered the park with no hassles at all.

We decided to take the S114 and we drove and drove with nothing exciting to report - just some Impies and Kudus in thick bush.

At the S21 junction, we decided to continue south to Byamiti Weir. We drove and drove some more, ended up on the H5, had to turn around and still didn't see much except some more Impies and Kudus.

Our lack of sightings was more than made up for when we got to the weir. I was happy to see that there was plently of water and we spent the next hour enjoying the various birds in area.

and four Pied Kingfishers that gave us a real show :-

Activity tapered off and we left this tranquil scene and headed for Afsaal and some sustainance.

Love the relection shots - on the day we were there the wind was blowing so no chance of a nice reflection.
