Hmmm....... I wonder what the reaction would be to just leave the body there ( say , red indian style , on poles ) , and allow nature to take it's course

The thing is, how can they control the scattering of ashes? Anyone can find a quiet spot and scatter them and no-one is ever the wiser.

There were complaints about people leaving caskets and urns at Granakop, Stephenson-Hamilton Memorial, Nkumbe and other look out points/places of interests. There were complaints about people using hides/places of interests as toilet stops.
I have no problem with the sign or the wording and I say Well Done SANParks.

Rather harsh, but I don’t have an issue with it as it was getting out of hand in the south as pointed out by Duke and I also say “well done SANParks”, however, I think that a small element of PR is lacking in the sign
I told my clan, don’t worry about ashes, just find the largest lion pride and roll me out the car
All have different levels of sensitivity regarding this, so I’m not overly excited about a few boxes of ashes, etc, so in perspective, with a few other things on the go, not a big deal in my book

Heh he, nah nah,
you will require a on site project
manager with all the paperwork in order,.. by that stage
the body would have chosen to move on in life!!!

Smokers have been scattering ashes for years throughout the park. I must have also spread a good couple of bodies worth when I was smoking.
