okie, the images must be at least 4MP, saved on the highest resolution. This will normally be around 6MB and more per image. They are very critical on normal photo requirements such as focus, exposure, composition and lighting. There must also be no noise on the image or colour fringing or any lens aberrations.

Payment varies according to the type of download and licence type required by the buyer, images can go for a few US cents up to a few hundred US$.

At this stage to me, getting images accepted is the main challenge, any sales are a bonus. But I must say, my sales are really picking up.

I've been thinking about putting my pictures on one of these multitudinous services. This topic finally got me off of my procrastinating posterior.

I submitted the required 10 images to Shutterstock last night and now I await their verdict! O-/ O-/ O-/

You wouldn't be the first person to suggest that! The problem is that I'm so critical of my pictures that I can always find fault with them.

I spent most of Tuesday evening selecting the ten pictures I was going to submit and I still changed my mind about one of them yesterday! 0*\

BT, take a look at their forum as well. It offers a lot of advice regarding getting shots accepted and a lot of other very useful info on all photographic subjects. \O
