We left the weir and headed towards Malelane on the S114. The driver said leopard
A young leopard on the road
But the leppie made off into the bush not to be seen again
The Pearly was more friendly
Bateleur
On the S119 close to the intersection with the S25 there is a little parking area overlooking the river. This is a great place to stop for birds especially the white fronted bee eater
Taking off, and this photo just does not look right with the wings not open
Also saw the Blue Waxbill
Tawny Flanked Prinia ?????
Red Billed Firefinch
We got on to the S25, then the S114 again and before we reached the H3 we found our final fisher bird, a very fitting last sighting.
