This is probably one of our best sightings on this road.
We saw a traffic jam ahead of us and joined the queue. A mating pair of
lions were walking towards us and as luck would have it they stopped
right next to us by a small tree. We had a grandstand view

10 August 2012 We were first out of Olifants and on our way to Pretoriuskop. Near Ngotso North we saw a young male lion



he joined the lioness


Further on we stopped for an Ellie. A SANP vehicle coming from Satara stopped and told us there is a leopard on the road about 3 km away. So will she still be there for us

and then she was gone



That morning we had lions, an ellie, leopard (and rhino and buffalo coming up) - all in about an hour
