I think this must be my favourite photo as this guy never sat still for a moment. I managed to catch him by sheer luck as he looked up - camera was set on 1/4000 sec.

Unidentified but looks very much like our Common Moorhen.

Finally for wild and suburban birds an unidentified parrot/lorikeet in the Mary Cairncross Scenic Reserve.

It is a silver seagull - between juvie and immature. The juveniles don't have a grey back yet, but the pattern
that can be seen on the wing. And beak and legs are reddish-black.
