Hello, Aat!
Isn't that the assistant to the collared one that's always there?
Anyway, here's another!
leachy is in the Park at the moment.

Flutterby,
Is not Mpenza but almost sure it is MUNE on your picture.
Mune is tracked and traced by STE organization and normally in the shingwedzi area

Aat, are these two different ellies? We saw him/them on the same day just outside Shingwedzi.
The second pic is on your site under Mpenza.

Flutts, those 2 look like different ellies to me. Although it is hard to tell without being able to see both ears, trunk wrinkle patterns and skull 'dents' seem to be different. Unless it's the difference in light on the pics. In addition the right tusk of the right hand pic seems a lot longer than the okeie on the left when measured against their trunks

I think you may be right iNd. We just assumed it was the same ellie...what are the chances of seeing two collared ellies in the same place within hours of each other.
Here are close ups...the second one is the one that Aat named as Mpenza. The first one's right tusk is definitely shorter and their ears look different.

The bull left is probably Mune (almost sure) , the one right is Mpenza. Take care... Mpenza lost his right tusk somewhere nov/dec 2011 so as you can see at my tusker site just the left tusk is left.

My dad was going through old pics and found these two. They were taken in the early 80s.
This one was in the Phelwana Spruit on the H7, and my dad said someone told him it was Phelwane. Unfortunately his tusk is hidden behind the reeds.
I'm not sure where this one was seen. Looks a bit like Mandhevhu?
