Just hundred metres down the road from the waterhole we found a spotted eagle owl with her two chicks
and visited them every day when we were in the area.

Somehow I got some lions at Montrose as well

I like the mean look of the female in the background - kind of a funny (incidental) composition

This is the most hideous lion cub I've ever seen in the Kgalagadi
